People usually assume it’s all about winning, and of course that’s part of it. But for me, it goes deeper than that.
I compete because I want to see what I’m capable of. Every training cycle, every competition, every setback, it all teaches me something new about where my limits really are.
There’s something addictive about that process. Pushing a little further, learning a little more, getting just a bit better. That’s what keeps me coming back, even on the hard days when it would be easier to stop.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about the results. It’s about the person I become while chasing them.
